MAX VERSTAPPEN TO STAR AT WTCR RACE OF NETHERLANDS
Formula One race winner Max Verstappen will be on track when the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO heads to his native Netherlands later this season. The Red Bull star and national hero will be in action at the Jumbo Racing Days, driven by Max Verstappen, which takes place at Circuit Zandvoort from 17-19 May. Click for full story.

MALAYSIA WTCR WILDCARD CHEAH LANDS SEPANG VICTORY

SHEDDEN PRAISES WTCR PROMOTER INITIATIVE
Gordon Shedden has praised Eurosport Events, promoter of the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO, for giving drivers the opportunity to create their own number designs. Three-time British Touring Car champion Shedden was recently announced as part of the Leopard Racing Team Audi Sport line-up for 2019 with the Scot’s Audi RS 3 LMS carrying his familiar number 52. Augusto Farfus has gone for “clean” over “sophisticated” when designing his racing number for his first season in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO. Attila Tassi is the first teenager to join the #WTCR2019SUPERGRID, the TCR Europe race winner getting his chance to impress on the world stage in a KCMG Honda Civic Type R TCR – and take the fight to established hero and former mentor Norbert Michelisz for Hungarian supremacy in WTCR / OSCARO season two. MONTEIRO JOINS KCMG IN WTCR FOR RETURN FROM SERIOUS INJURY
Having impressed on his competitive comeback at WTCR JVCKENWOOD Race of Japan last October after 415 days of fighting to recover from serious injuries sustained in a testing crash in September 2017, Tiago Monteiro will embark on a full WTCR / OSCARO season with the Honda-powered KCMG organisation.
