Ken Collier joins the Australian Racing Group
Experienced motorsports administrator Ken Collier has joined the Australian Racing Group, effective immediately.
Collier has enjoyed a long and decorated career in the Australian motorsport industry, from being an Off Road Rally Champion in his own right, to holding positions in category management and representing Australia to the FIA GT Commission.
Collier’s primary role at ARG will see him take on the operations and logistics for its growing motorsport portfolio which includes the TCR Australia Series, S5000, Touring Car Masters and the recently acquired Bathurst 6 Hour event.
Based in Melbourne, Collier assisted with the introduction of the Porsche Carrera Cup Australian and Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge categories.
From 2012, Collier managed the CAMS Australian GT Championship, being the front man for the category when Tony Quinn purchased the Category Management Agreement (CMA).
Collier was instrumental in developing the CAMS Australian Endurance Championship and oversaw the introduction of the CAMS Australian GT Trophy Series.
He was appointed as the Australian observer representative to FIA GT Commission in 2017 and as a full member of FIA GT Commission in 2018. Collier is also a contributor to the FiA World Motor Sport Council for Australian GT and member of the FIA Driver Categorisation Committee.
While his off-track operations have earned him high industry credentials, his passion for the sport came on track, with his best achievement coming in 1997 when he was crowned the CAMS AORC Driver Champion in Class 2.
