REVIEW: BALDI, RAECHL BEST IN ESPORTS WTCR OSCARO
Gergo Baldi and Michael Raechl were the Esports WTCR OSCARO winners at a virtual Suzuka on Sunday evening, Hungarian Baldi winning for a second time in 2019 to claim the Multiplayer Championship lead and young German Raechl taking his maiden triumph in a RaceRoom competition. Click for full story.
TARQUINI: I’LL HELP MICHELISZ WIN WTCR TITLE
Gabriele Tarquini will help Norbert Michelisz succeed him as king of the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO. Although the WTCR / OSCARO title holder is still in mathematical contention to claim the crown for a second time, he’s largely dismissed his hopes of more glory. SUZUKA WTCR WIN JUST A MEMORY, SAYS CECCON
Kevin Ceccon’s breakthrough victory at WTCR JVCKENWOOD Race of Japan last season is in the past and it’s what happens in the future that counts, according to the 26-year-old. Ceccon’s success, which was also a first triumph for Team Mulsanne and Alfa Romeo Giulietta constructor Romeo Ferraris, marked out the Italian as one to watch in this year’s WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO. TASSI HEADS ‘HOME’ ON A WTCR HIGH
Attila Tassi is preparing for his second ‘home’ race in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO boosted by his strongest weekend yet in terms of points scored. Honda-powered Tassi bagged 15 points at WTCR Race of China earlier this month. WTCR RACE OF PORTUGAL RESULTS AMENDED
The results of WTCR Race of Portugal have been amended after appeals lodged by Comtoyou Team Audi Sport and Leopard Racing Team Audi Sport were upheld by the International Court of Appeal. It means Jean-Karl Vernay of Leopard Racing Team Audi is classified P10 in Race 1 at WTCR Race of Portugal and P5 in Race 3, while Frédéric Vervisch of Comtoyou Team Audi Sport is classified P20 in Race 1.
