Salih Yoluc in pursuit of becoming the first Turkish driver to win in Le Mans

In just his first ever season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, Salih Yoluc approaches the 24 Hours of Le Mans seeking the race win to make history and become the first Turkish driver to do so.

Held annually since 1923, Le Mans 24hrs is the oldest active sportscar endurance race in the world. Alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix, it represents one third of the Triple Crown of Motorsport.

Since 2012, the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been a part of the World Endurance Championship. Circuit de la Sarthe contains a mix of closed public roads and dedicated sections of racing track. Four classes of cars compete side by side with a large portion of entrants racing GTs.

Salih and team, TF Sport, head to the prestigious event with eyes firmly on the race win in GTE-Am. With a 26-point deficit to overcome, Salih is seeking the top step of the podium to seal off a very successful debut year. Alongside teammates Euan Hankey and Charlie Eastwood the trio have already secured a string of second places in the championship this year, but hope to go one better at the flagship race next weekend, 15-16 June.

Salih Yoluc: "We are here and hungry for the win that has been so close to us on multiple occasions this year. The goal is to win the race and see what happens with the championship. The team is ready, the car is feeling good and we can't wait to get started. It's always a pleasure to come to Le Mans and be a part of an iconic, global racing event."
