) – Muddy Creek
Raceway in Blountville, TN will host Round 5 of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro
Motocross Series on Saturday, June 23. MAVTV will again Telecast
"live" both opening motos (450 & 250 classes) starting at
1:00pm ET.
Reigning 450cc
series champion, Eli Tomac of Cortex, CO barely squeezed out an overall
victory in Round 4, and will be trying to extend his winning ways over
Frenchman Marvin Musquin and Greenville, FL's, Justin Barcia.
The point spread
in the 450 class shows Tomac with 197, Musquin at 169, and Barcia at 140,
with a total of 50 points up for grabs (25 for each moto). Muddy Creek is
considered a highly technical track, where riders will spend almost as much
time in the air as on the ground.
In the 250 class,
there’s a real horse race for first place in the 2018 points chase that
sees a scant 20-point gap between leader Aaron Plessinger and Jeremy Martin
(171-151). Plessinger hails from Hamilton, OH and Martin calls
Milville, MN home. And ... just to keep both riders honest, Jeremy’s
brother, Alex is right in the leading pair’s slipstream only 10 points
behind.

mark your day book, set your DVR, and get ready for some incredible two
wheel action.
