WRC+ All Live’s ground-breaking television coverage of the FIA World Rally Championship will be enhanced by the addition of commentary in two new languages.

From this week’s Croatia Rally (22 - 25 April), fans in Germany and Japan can listen to live special stage commentary in their native language alongside spectacular roadside, onboard and helicopter action pictures.

It increases the innovative All Live reports to four different languages. WRC Promoter launched its streaming programmes in English at the start of 2018, with Spanish introduced at the beginning of the following year.

Experienced WRC television commentator Christian Glück will be behind the microphone for German fans throughout the season.

At the Croatia Rally, Japanese viewers will be entertained by an experienced group of motorsport journalists comprising Mitsuharu Izumi, Hiroaki Ibuki, Mitsuhiro Kunisawa and Hitoshi Hongo. Other commentators and guests will join the team for future events.

The online subscription WRC+ All Live service offers more than 25 hours of thrilling live and on-demand action from each round, including as-it-happens coverage of every special stage, expert analysis, service park interviews and special features.

“WRC+ All Live has continued to grow, both in content and audience, since it was launched at Rallye Monte-Carlo in 2018,” explained Florian Ruth, WRC Promoter’s senior director for content and communication.

“Doubling our language output from two to four is another major step forward in WRC+ All Live’s coverage. It will add to the enjoyment of German and Japanese-speaking fans who can now enjoy the thrills and spills of the WRC in their native tongue.”

The Japanese commentary will prove especially popular in a country which hosts the championship’s potentially title-deciding final round in Nagoya on 11 - 14 November. In a further boost for fans there, the WRC recently launched an official Twitter platform in Japanese at https://twitter.com/officialWRC_JP.

Fans wishing to subscribe to WRC+ All Live can do so via the championship website at www.wrc.com. A special 25 per cent discount is currently available for fans buying a season pass for the remaining 10 rounds of the 2021 season.
