Ahmad Al Harthy, Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood set for Blancpain with Oman Racing with TF Sport
Oman Racing with TF Sport are set to return to the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup this year and will field the all-new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 for Ahmad Al Harthy, Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood. The team will compete in the Pro-Am class in the five-round Championship.
The team has an impressive record in the category, having taken the Pro-Am honours in 2017 with Ahmad and team regular Jonny Adam. Oman Racing with TF Sport returned last year to compete in the Silver Cup with Ahmad and Charlie but while the title proved to be elusive, the pairing enjoyed a solid season in the V12 Vantage.
Ahmad last competed with the team at the Gulf 12 Hours where TF Sport made its racing debut with the new GT3. The Oman racer teamed up with Jonny and Darren Turner and went on to finish a fighting fourth in the GT3 Pro class.
Charlie and Salih meanwhile are more than familiar with each other as they continue to compete together in the FIA World Endurance Championship for the team. Salih, who also competed in select Blancpain rounds with TF Sport in 2017, has been busy racing in the Asian Le Mans Series, adapting – with success - to LMP2 machinery.
TF Sport, who recently wrapped up its inaugural campaign in the Asian Le Mans Series, continue to compete in the FIA WEC Super Season and has expanded its British GT Championship campaign to four cars, with two each in GT3 and GT4.
