Here’s a recap of some of the latest developments in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO.

BALDI EDGES CLOSER TO ESPORTS WTCR OSCARO TITLE AS M1RA TEAM WINS TWICE
Gergo Baldi’s third win of the Esports WTCR OSCARO Multiplayer Championship season and Zoltan Csuti’s first-ever triumph capped a strong Macau race night on RaceRoom for the M1RA team and its Hungarian drivers.  Baldi’s success hands him a 71-point advantage over defending champion, the Slovakia-based Hungarian Bence Bánki with just the Sepang closing round remaining. Although the Macau results remain provisional depending the outcome of the usual judicial processes, Baldi, Bánki and Germany’s Florian Hasse are all but assured a place in the live final in Malaysia on 14 December. MULLER EXPECTS MORE WTCR TITLE TWISTS AND TURNS ON THE WTCR’S #ROADTOMALAYSIA
Yvan Muller isn’t taking anything for granted despite entering the fight for the 2019 WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO. The most successful driver in World Touring Car history moved to within 16 points of new title leader Norbert Michelisz with a double victory for Cyan Racing Lynk & Co at WTCR Race of China last month. Even on the back of his record points haul at the Ningbo International Speedpark, Muller expects more title twists and turns between now and the Malaysia super-finale in Sepang. MONTEIRO REVEALS TASSI WTCR BOOST CHAT
Tiago Monteiro has revealed how he gave team-mate Attila Tassi a pep talk following the young Hungarian’s WTCR Race of Portugal despair earlier this season. Tassi, 20, was leading the third race of the Vila Real weekend in WTCR / OSCARO OSCARO when a mechanical problem dropped him down the order, handing first place to Monteiro. Click for full story.

HAGLÖF THINKS BIG FOR PWR IN WTCR
Daniel Haglöf wants PWR Racing, the team he co-owns, to challenge for the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO title in 2020. PWR has been one of the revelations of WTCR / OSCARO in 2019 with Haglöf scoring a podium and team-mate Mikel Azcona claiming a breakthrough victory at WTCR Race of Portugal in Vila Real in the summer. VERVISCH SHOOTS FOR WTCR TOP FIVE
Frédéric Vervisch wants to complete his “better” season in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO in the final top five. Vervisch placed ninth in the inaugural title race in 2018 and holds the same position heading to WTCR JVCKENWOOD Race of Japan later this month. With nine races remaining, the Belgian battler is 37 points shy of a top-five finish for Comtoyou Team Audi Sport. Click for full story.

BENNANI: WE’LL KEEP FIGHTING IN WTCR
Mehdi Bennani is firmly focused on returning to the top in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO following a tough 2019 campaign. Bennani was a winner during the inaugural WTCR / OSCARO season in 2018 but languishes in P26 in the standings in his Sébastien Loeb Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR. Click for full story.
