SÃO PAULO confirma regresso ao WEC em 2020.

6 Hours of São Paulo 2020: the countdown is on!
In exactly 365 days, endurance racing will be back at Autódromo José Carlos Pace as the engines roar for the start of the 6 Hours of São Paulo, the fifth round of the 2019-2020 FIA World Endurance Championship.
In preparation for the event, a small group of WEC officials including CEO Gérard Neveu and FIA Race Director Eduardo Freitas are visiting Brazil to meet with local race promoter Nicholas Duduch Motorsport and the Mayor of São Paulo, Bruno Covas.
The return of the WEC to South America was a popular addition to the 2019-2020 calendar, and the Interlagos circuit was a great driver and fan favourite from 2012-2014.
Gerard Neveu commented after the visit: ““We have had a busy three working days in São Paulo preparing for the return of the WEC to Brazil next year. It was a very constructive session. The upgrading of the circuit’s facilities by the city of São Paulo is very impressive and the work already done by the local promoter, Nicolas Duduch Motorsport, is very promising. We can expect a great event in 365 days and we are very enthusiastic about the 6 Hours of São Paulo 2020.”
