TF Sport confident heading to Fuji for round two of the FIA World Endurance Championship

With little time to celebrate the Blancpain Pro-Am championship honours in Barcelona, TF Sport head straight off to the second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship which takes place this coming weekend at Fuji Speedway Japan.

While the opening round of the 2019-20 season at Silverstone didn’t go to plan, the #90 Aston Martin Vantage GTE certainly showed plenty of pace with drivers Salih Yoluç, Charlie Eastwood and Jonny Adam.

Nestled in the shadow of Mount Fuji, the 4.5 km circuit features a long straight – almost 1.5 km – and is expected to suit the characteristics of the #90 Aston Martin. Last year in Oyama, Indeed, TF Sport claimed the runner-up position and armed with the new GTE, the team fully expect to be challenging for victory on Sunday afternoon.

As a package, between the team, car and drivers we have a good chance of getting a good result, so the challenge for all of us is to get our first victory in WEC!”

“Silverstone wasn’t ideal but I’m looking forward to the fly-away events. We have shown great pace but didn’t get the result last time, so hopefully we’ll put that straight in Fuji and get the results we deserve, so fingers crossed it goes well.”
