Following on from their success in Hungary for the International GT Open the weekend prior, Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood were reunited with Jonny Adam, for the return of the WEC season. The free practice sessions saw the team get back into the swing of things by trialling various set ups to suit the twists and turns of the Ardennes. Second position was the highest the GTE ran within the trio of practice sessions. After a disappointing qualifying run, where Charlie and Salih struggled with car balance, the #90 lined up in sixth, with Yoluc at the wheel to take the start. Due to the typically Spa-like weather, a severe downpour meant the WEC return race was started behind the safety car, which made it the first wet start of 2020. Jonny then raced the V8 Vantage GTE up to second before yet another torrential shower set in, dropping #90 down to P7 as it began to struggle for optimal pace. Between the TF trio, they pushed as much out of the car as they possibly could and despite a further three safety car periods, they brought the car steadily up the ranks. With some well executed strategy calls made by the team, Eastwood brought #90 Vantage home in third position to claim another trophy haul. TF Sport, Yoluc, Eastwood and Adam remain firmly in second place, in the drivers and teams championship standings. Next up is the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans - 19/20 September and despite it not staging the championship finale this year, there is still a lot to play for with double points up for grabs.
