Leveling up to LMP2
Nielsen Racing confirms the team's full LMP2 programme in 2022 across Asian Le Mans, European Le Mans and, pending on entry approval, the 90th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the striking brand-new Viking-themed liveried Oreca 07.
Our Asian Le Mans trio will face a dual programme with the addition of the European Le Mans with one stand-out ambition: to earn an entry to the 90th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

2022 will mark the team's first full season with LMP2 machinery, following Nielsen's 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans participation.

Four four-hour races in two weeks! After a successful 2021, the 2022 Asian Le Mans Series returns to the United Arab Emirates this week, splitting between the FIA graded 1 Dubai Autodrome and then moving to the newly upgraded Yas Marina Circuit in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The European Le Mans Series is a natural training ground for drivers wanting to tackle the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Drivers competing in LMP2 race the same machinery that competes on the world stage on some of the best tracks in Europe.
