2023 Asian Le Mans Series: count us in!

Nielsen Racing can confrim the team will return to the Middle East next February for a fifth season running in the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series to defend our 2022 title, with the centenary 24 Hours of Le Mans entries as a clear objective.

About Nielsen Racing

It started as one car, one truck and a winning Radical European Masters campaing. Almost eight years, two 24 Hours of Le Mans and four LMP3 Team Champions trophies later, Sven Thompson and the Nielsen Racing team are still hungry for more.

After a record-breaking 2022 season, where the team became the top point-scorer in the history of the Asian championship. On the way to earning our second Le Mans entry, we scored our first ever doube victory. Having now tasted sucess at the very highest level in Asia, Europe and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Nielsen Racing looks forward to add to our records in the Asian Le Mans Series.

About The Asian Le Mans Series

Four four-hour races in two weeks! After a highly successful 2022 season that attracted a record grid and was watched by a record global audience, the Asian Le Mans Series has announced they will keep the popular format for the 2023 season. Returning to the United Arab Emirates in mid February, the 4 rounds will split between the Dubai Autodrome and the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

What's next? 4 Hours of Portimão

The 2022 European Le Mans will come to a close next week in Portugal, with the #24 Oreca still in the fight for the LMP2 PA crown on the team's debut season in the class. Rodrigo Sales, Matt Bell and Ben Hanley will be aiming for more silverware in the sixth and final round. while Tony Wells and James Littlejohn will be looking to finish the LMP3 season on a high note after a hard-earned podium.
