With a length of 159 mm, an outer diameter of 59 mm and a wall thickness of 0.4 mm, the thinnest SIC sleeve ever was ground at QSIL Ingenieurkeramik.

The cylindrical shape is 0.010 mm, the internal fit has an IT 6 quality and the Ra value is 0.1. The sleeve is used in medical technology. The weight is only 21 grams.
