Among the exceptional vehicles offered with no reserve, nine cars were sold for over one million euros. The two outstanding Ferraris in this collection were the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB 1962, which fetched €5,530,000 with premium, and the Ferrari 250 GT Spyder California LWB sold for €5,186,800 with premium.
This effective strategy helped set five world auction records and one European record. Specifically, new heights were attained for the 1983 Porsche 911 SC cabriolet (€110,856 incl. premium), the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Speedster Turbo-Look 1989 (262 240 incl. premium), the 1997 Porsche 993 S (€220,520 incl. premium), the 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera RS (€274,160 incl. premium), and the European record for the 1973 Dino 246 GTS (€679,440 incl. premium).
The Mercedes 300 SL "Papillon" also achieved strong results, selling above its high estimate, and two Roadster models sold for €1,546,600 and €1,728,000 (incl. premium), illustrating their rarity and the strong demand from connoisseurs and collectors.
"The total success of this sale is the result of Artcurial Motorcars' ability to expertly manage the complete process of dispersing entire collections from start to finish,"
